The most important feature is the material it's made of Nickel-Titanium. Endodontic Nickel-Titanium was developed from "Nitinol" wire were used orthodontics. First researched in 1988, it has been used in endodontics in the USA since 1992.

The HERO 642® is a new MICRO-MEGA instrument made up of Nickel-Titanium alloy. It is used in a contra-angle handpiece in a rotary motion to guarantee the correct speed of 300-600 rpm.

  • Nickel-Titanium (NiTi) is a "super-elastic", very flexible alloy with memory: it returns to its original shape after bending or deformation

Hero Fill and Oven
  • Up to four obturators heated at the same time.
  • Heating time 1st cycle : 70 seconds.
  • Heating time 2nd cycle : 30 seconds.
  • Temperature : 110ºC ± 5ºC.

Hero Fill and Verifiers
Uncoated core with the same dimensions as the obturator core. It is used to:

  • Verify whether the canal has been prepared properly.
  • Establish the actual working length.
  • Confirm that the size selected provides the proper fit.
  • Apply sealer into the canal instead of a spiral filler.
 
 
 
 

Ultradent EndoREZ
A unique biocompatible methacrylate-based sealer, EndoREZ is a two-part mixed, dual cure matieral. It has hydrophyllic characteristics providing excellent penetration into dentinal tubules. This allows for improved sealing properties combined with ease of placement and removal. Radiopacity equivalent to gutta percha simplifies radiographic interpretation.
